Our first Let's Do Business Expo – What a day!
On Thursday 8 October, the Web Goddess team attended our very first Let's Do Business Expo as exhibitors and what a fantastic day we had!
We spent the day meeting brilliant businesses, catching up with familiar faces and making plenty of new connections. From the moment the doors opened, we were busy chatting to business owners about their websites, digital marketing and the challenges they face when trying to stand out online.
It was particularly interesting to hear how many businesses are looking for practical, straightforward advice about improving their websites. That's exactly what we love doing at Web Goddess – helping businesses understand what works, what doesn't and where they can make improvements without getting bogged down in technical jargon.
Let's Do Business is More Than Just a Networking Event
For us, Let's Do Business was about much more than promoting our services. It was an opportunity to meet the people behind local businesses, hear their stories and learn more about what they're trying to achieve.
We also loved being part of an event that brought so many businesses together in one place. There's something rather brilliant about stepping away from our screens for a day and having proper face-to-face conversations. And as we're based in Uttoxeter, popping down the road to the racecourse wasn't much distance to travel at all!

Our first Let's Do Business Expo certainly kept us on our toes, but we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and came away with some fantastic new connections.
