Emily Mac Maternal Wellbeing

SMALL BUSINESS

Nurturing a brand into its next stage

The context

Emily Mac Maternal Wellbeing provides compassionate, practical support to women throughout pregnancy, birth and early motherhood.

The client had carefully refined the business’s voice, messaging and visual identity, and needed a website that properly reflected the calm, knowledgeable and reassuring experience provided to clients.

The original website had been created using Wix Editor, which gave the business a useful starting point. As the services and brand developed, however, it was time for a more professional website that felt clearer, more considered and ready for the next stage of growth.

The challenge

Maternal wellbeing is a sensitive and deeply personal subject, so the website needed to feel welcoming and reassuring without overwhelming visitors with too much information.

It had to communicate the client’s expertise while still feeling warm and approachable. The user journey also needed simplifying, so visitors could quickly understand who the services are for, how the client can help and what each service involves.

The website also needed to support the wider growth of the business by making it easier to book introductory calls, grow an email list and share useful resources.

What we did

We rebuilt the website in Wix Studio, giving us greater control over the design, layout and responsive experience across desktop, tablet and mobile.

We worked closely with the client to carry the established branding throughout the website, using the existing colours, imagery, typography and messaging consistently to create a calm, personal and professional digital home.

The content was reorganised and simplified to create a clearer journey through the site. Prominent calls to action link directly to Calendly, allowing potential clients to book an introductory call without unnecessary back-and-forth.

We also created:

  • A pop-up offering a free guide in exchange for an email address

  • An automated email journey to deliver the guide immediately

  • A dedicated articles area for helpful resources and advice

  • A clearer contact page with an approachable enquiry form

  • Direct contact details and additional links to book an introductory call

  • A responsive design that works across all screen sizes

The result

The finished website feels much more aligned with the client’s refined brand, personality and voice.

It is calm without feeling clinical, professional without feeling corporate and informative without becoming overwhelming.

Visitors can now clearly understand the services, explore helpful resources and take the next step when they feel ready. The client also has a flexible website that can grow alongside the business through new articles, resources and email marketing.

Why it worked

The website works because every part of the design and content was shaped around the needs of the client’s audience.

The calming visual style builds trust, while the simplified structure makes the website easier to explore. Clear booking links, helpful resources and the free guide give visitors several ways to engage without feeling pressured.

By combining the client’s established brand with a clearer user journey and practical marketing tools, we created a website that feels reassuring, credible and ready to support the next stage of the business.
